About
Our Mission
The Women of Seven Lakes is a dedicated volunteer organization that operates as a very small non-profit, focusing on donating to local charities and increasing community engagement. The group was established over 30 years ago. Our website serves as a platform to post events, notify members of meetings, and share valuable information, aiming to enhance donations and outreach within the community.
Our #1 goal is to create a positive impact by bringing people together through charitable acts and community involvement. We believe in the power of unity and giving back to uplift those in need, fostering a spirit of compassion and support for a better tomorrow. We also strive to promote fellowship among members of the Seven Lakes community; sponsor recreational activities and social events; and promote the general well-being of the Seven Lakes community and its properties.
Meetings typically are held on the first Thursday of the month at the Chapel in the Pines, Seven Lakes, Fellowship Hall at 2 p.m. from September through May. Each month we have a speaker or program highlighting a wide range of topics. Our annual membership fee is $15.00. Meetings are free for members and $5.00 per meeting for guests. If a meeting includes lunch, there may be an additional charge. We invite and encourage residents of all Seven Lakes Communities to join. Friends and neighbors are always welcome.
